Mitsotakis From London: Reforms Will Continue; Elex in 2027
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Monday told representatives of institutional investors that real net income has strengthened by 22% in the country over the past six years, while he again expressed optimism that his center-right New Democracy (ND) party will emerge victorious in any coming election. At the same time, he ruled out a snap or early election, saying ballot boxes will again be set up for the spring 2027, i.e. the next scheduled date. Mitsotakis spoke at the 4th consecutive Greek Investment Conference in the British capital, organized by Morgan Stanley, in partnership with the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), at the former's London conference center.
