Yorgos Lanthimos: The Greek island where the finale of his new film was filmed, after being turned down for the Acropolis
Almost a month after the rejection of Yorgos Lanthimos' request by the KAS to film his new film, "Bugonia", on the Acropolis, the Greek director seems to have found another location in our country. As journalist Thanos Vagios revealed on ANT1's Proino show, the film's finale was filmed on the beautiful Sarakiniko beach in Milos and the show secured exclusive footage from the preparations. "The filming was completed. Last Wednesday they went for a test, they saw the location and on Friday the filming took place. 15 days earlier, Yorgos Lanthimos had visited the island to see if the location suited the new script for the film's finale," the journalist said. Yorgos Lanthimos' new film stars his muse, Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Alicia Silverstone, Stavros Chalkias and others. When will Yorgos Lanthimos' new film premiere? Focus Features will release the award-winning Greek director's new film "Bugonia" on October 24, before its premiere...
