Greece, US Sign Economic Security Declaration in Athens
Greece and United States on Friday signed a joint declaration in Athens focusing on economic security, capping off a whirlwind 6th Transatlantic Partnership for Energy Cooperation (P-TEC) in the Greek capital that witnessed a handful of major energy-related deals and agreements. According to a press release, both sides affirmed their commitment to "jointly pursue multilayered partnerships that strengthen supply chain security, address coercive dependencies and single-points of failure, and advance the adoption of trusted technology ecosystems." The declaration was signed by Under Secretary of State for Economic Affairs Jacob Helberg, new US ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle and Greece's Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, Haris Theoharis.
