High Commissioner of India to Cyprus Mr Manish and Rector Pouyioutas Signed an MoU During the Visit of Prime Minister Modi to Cyprus Mr Manish, High Commissioner of India to Cyprus, and Professor Philippos Pouyioutas, Rector of the University of Nicosia, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Sunday, 15 June 2025, for the establishment of a Chair of Indian Studies at the University of Nicosia. The post will be the first Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Chair hosted by a University in Cyprus and will be jointly supported by the University of Nicosia and ICCR.
