A Jet2 flight from Scotland to Cyprus was forced to divert to Greece after a "drunk" passenger created problems, according to The Sun. Flight LS721 departed Edinburgh Airport on Saturday afternoon bound for Larnaca. But pilots were forced to divert to Thessaloniki after reports emerged that a passenger was drunk and causing a disturbance during the flight. A video published by The Scottish Sun shows Greek police officers on the plane speaking to passengers. According to reports, officers removed the man from the plane. "He started causing a ruckus because, he said, he wasn't being served quickly enough. He kept pressing the call button and pointing at the staff. He became aggressive with the crew and other passengers who intervened. He got up and went to hit a passenger on the plane, who tried to defuse the situation," a passenger told the Scottish Sun. The plane finally departed for its destination at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. Tagged under
